Sensitivity created and fuels the common expectation that I/we/society should precede our every action by first considering the feelings of someone else. I disagree...
Just like each person has the right to be sensitive, we have the right to be insensitive. One could argue that others' sensitivity impedes upon my right to live as I choose.
I use this blog as my outlet, which is only half serious most of the time. I found that looking at life and people from a humorous perspective really helps me refrain from stabbing certain co-workers in the eye with a pencil, or slapping that deer-in-the-headlights look off my fellow man's face.
See? Only half serious. :)
